Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2012 is about to take center stage in New York City Fashion Week beginning tomorrow evening, September 5. Open is the official start of the international fashion week season as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week opens to much fanfare in New York. New York City sets the stage for fashion's most exciting and influential events. Fittingly Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week takes place in New York City's Lincoln Center with the Metropolitan Opera House that houses some of the most beautiful costumes of the stage as a backdrop. Fashionistas cannot wait to see the amazing spring 2013 fashions to hit the stage. Top international designers along with up and coming new talent will be impressing all with lively designs. During the eight days of Fashion Week, Lincoln Center will be home to over 80 runway shows and presentations. Fashion Week hosts the Annual Style Awards. To add to the enthusiasm will be the 9th Annual Style Awards taking place opening fashion week on September 5th. "Talents behind the world's most exciting film and TV fashions will come together at The 2012 Style Awards, to celebrate and recognize the artistic accomplishments of the community's top costume designers, stylists, models, photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists and more." New York City's economy will have a much needed lift. New York businesses will benefit from the addition of over 100,000 fashion professionals and the additional voyeurs of the show as they move into the city for the week. The anticipation has been building up and the world is about to view the fabulous fashion designs of the Spring 2013 Collections.
